The bars at the Black Bull are a favourite meeting place for visitors and locals.
On warm summer days you can sit outside and enjoy your drinks in the sunshine -
with cosy open fires in the bar for the cooler months.

This lovely traditional old inn has a really friendly atmosphere.
 Serving bar snacks and sandwiches all day along with good
homemade traditional pub food including:-

 Jacket Potatoes, homemade soups
Steak & Ale Pie, Lasagne, Chilli, Scampi and chips etc.,

at only £5 or less!

There are three letting rooms all are Four Diamond rated with the English Tourist Board -
They are spacious and comfortable with en-suite facilities, remote control TV and
tea/coffee making facilities.......

The rooms are decorated to a high standard and some overlook the square where each morning local racehorses make their way to work
on the local gallops
