The Countryman�s Inn is a traditional village country pub situated in the heart of the Dales village of Hunton.


With a warm welcome and relaxed, friendly atmosphere, here you will find comfortable accommodation, good beer and good food, a place where you can relax and unwind especially in the cosy bar with its beamed ceilings and open log fire.

The Countryman's location offers a quiet rural feel whilst at the same time being within easy travelling distance of the many attractions this area has to offer including sporting, cultural and historical, something to appeal to all tastes..

 


The Countryman's Inn is a quieter alternative to the pubs and hotels in the
nearby famous racing town of Middleham, which is just an easy 6 miles away.
Transport to and from the training gallops can be organised free of charge
by prior arrangement!

 

In September the village hosts the now famous Steam Gathering with old steam engines, vintage cars, bikes and tractors - great fun for old and young!


 

 

  

                                  
THE BAR

There is a selection of 5 cask-conditioned ales,
3 brewed within 10 miles of the pub!
They also have a wide selection of other beers, lagers and wines
to suit all occasions.
During the summer months families are welcome to enjoy 'alfresco'
hospitality in the attractive beer garden and patio area.
There is a Music Night ~
held in the bar every two weeks on a Monday night.

 

     THE RESTAURANT
Offering a wide selection of locally sourced & freshly prepared food
to suit all tastes & budgets.

Choose from their "Value" Lunch & Early Dinner menus:
 On offer are two course lunches at �10.95, Two course dinners from �12.95 and Three course dinners for �15.95.

The early dinner menus are available all evening on Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday and until 7.00pm on Friday & Saturday.
For that 'special' occasion a full a la carte menu is offered !

 Lunch: 12.00 to 2.30pm - Dinner: 6.00pm to 9.00pm


ACCOMMODATION
 The comfortable first floor accommodation, which is AA 3 star rated, comprises of three well-equipped,
en-suite bedrooms each with television and tea and coffee making facilities.

 Room 1 is a Double, en suite with large corner bath and shower. Room 2 is a Small double en-suite with  shower and Room 3 is a Double en-suite with shower. All are light and airy and tastefully decorated.
