Wedding Facilities at Middleham Key Centre

Front entrance to the Key Centre Building

    Taking Care of Everything on

    Your Very Special Day

Set in this beautiful and historic Yorkshire Dales town,
the Middleham Key Centre is the perfect venue for your wedding.
This lovely building and surroundings of the Key Centre are in keeping with the historical connections that Middleham has with King Richard III and with the medieval hangings on the walls and the handmade heraldic curtains you can feel like a Queen yourself on your very special day.

The light and airy Richard III Hall is the main wedding room.
A wall of smoked glass allows the sunshine in and the unique locally handmade heraldic curtains provide a colourful backdrop. The room seats up to 120 guests yet despite its size the hall has an intimate atmosphere.    There is a piano available near the entrance should you wish to provide your own music

The flexibility of the Centre will allow you to theme
your Wedding day exactly as you want it!

For smaller occasions we have three other rooms also licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, seating from 10 to 30 guests. The foyer can also be made available for guests to mingle before and after the ceremony or to partake in a celebratory glass of Champagne..

The Richard III Hall is also an ideal place to hold your reception and can hold 150 for wedding buffets or 100 at a seated wedding breakfast. Our appointed caterers, who have been chosen for the Key Centre because of the high quality of food, service and attention to detail, will provide a menu to suit your requirements perfectly. A Master of Ceremonies can also be arranged.

All rooms are on the ground floor; there is a full disabled access along with toilets and baby changing facilities. The Centre is fully licensed and we can provide bar facilities with prices similar to those in local hotels and pubs.

The Middleham Key Centre operates a no-smoking policy in all rooms except for the Richard III Hall.
